WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER CLINICAL DIETITIAN SERVICES?
We are actively working to contract with both private insurance companies and Texas Medicaid. The progress is very long and arduous so this may take some time so, for now, we are taking self-pay clients only.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES TEXAS PEDIATRIC NUTRITION THERAPY TAKE?
We take all major credit cards, Venmo, cash app, Pay Pal, and cash. We do not accept checks.
WHAT IS A CLINICAL DIETITIAN?
A Clinical Dietitian is a Registered Dietitian. who specializes in Medical Nutrition Therapy. A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a highly trained and qualified healthcare professional specializing in nutrition and dietetics. RDs have completed extensive academic coursework, including a bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field, and have fulfilled the requirements of a supervised practice program. They are also required to pass a national registration examination to become a Registered Dietitian.
